These are the steps recommended for utilizing music on this site:
- Create An Account or Login if you have not already done so. This will allow you to go through the purchasing process as well as give you access to a few extras.
- Sign the site Terms Of Use Agreement by creating an account and clicking “I Agree”. It basically lets us know that your intentions are to play nice with our products.
- Audition music through the IGS Catalog. All tracks have a free LoRes download button that downloads all pieces and elements within the associated suite. You are encouraged to use these pieces as you experiment with your production. The final downloads (after purchase) are in .wav and high quality mp3 formats.
- For tracks that you wish to purchase, select a licensing variation (from the dropdown menu in each product box) and add the product to your cart.
- Upon checking out, you will be asked to confirm that you agree to our Music Track License Agreement. You will then be able to complete your purchase and receive your download links.
- Once you have placed the music in your program, always be sure to come back and fill out a Cue Sheet. This is an important means for composers to receive fair payment for their work.
Music can be discovered by:
- typing a descriptor, a title, genre or artist name in the Search bar, and by
- clicking on a category button under Suites/Elements, Genres, Composer, Tempo or Mood under the Search bar. Helpful terms are defined and answers to FAQ are given on the Glossary/FAQ page.
