Clearance Definitions

All TV, For Sale, and Future Media: Telecast on all free TV, cable / DBS (basic and premium subscriptions), digital and closed circuit TY, and unlimited for-sale or free distribution in linear format only on video cassette or disc, and all broadcast media now known and hereafter devised. Includes Internet web cast, in-transit exhibition, pay-per-view, radio simulcast, foreign language dubbing or subtitling, and in-context promos only. Excludes theatrical exhibition and out-of-context promos.

All TV and For Sale Media: Telecast on all free TV, cable/DBS (basic and premium subscriptions), digital and closed circuit TV, and unlimited for-sale or free distribution in linear format only on video cassette or disc. Includes Internet web cast, pay-per-view, radio simulcast, in-transit exhibition, foreign language dubbing or subtitling, and in-context promos only.

All TV Media: Telecast on all free TV, cable/DBS (basic and premium subscriptions), digital and closed circuit TV. Includes Internet web cast, pay-per-view, radio simulcast, in-transit exhibition, foreign language dubbing or subtitling,and in-context promos only.

Basic Cable/DBS TV: Telecast on basic subscription services in the following forms: cable and/or satellite (direct, digital, or closed circuit). Includes Internet webcast, radio simulcast, in-transit exhibition, foreign language dubbing or subtitling, and in-context promos only.

Free TV (U.S. only): Telecast on free signal in the U.S. only. Includes radio simulcast and in-context promos only. Excludes Internet webcast and foreign language dubbing or subtitling. Premium Cable I DBS TV: Telecast on premium subscription services in the following forms: cable and / or satellite (direct, digital, or closed circuit). Includes Internet webcast, radio simulcast, in-transit exhibition, foreign language dubbing or subtitling, and in-context promos only.

In-Transit Exhibition and Closed Circuit Transmission: Broadcast or exhibition on a closed circuit system and on boats, trains, planes, or any form of transportation in which entertainment is supplied by the carrier. Includes foreign language dubbing or subtitling, and in-context promos only.

Internet Program: Webcast on the Internet in linear format only (audio or visual). Includes foreign language dubbing or subtitling, and in-context promos only. Music cannot be downloadable separate from the production.

Radio: Broadcast on radio. Includes Internet simulcast, in-transit exhibition, and in-context promos only.

Please Note:

• Creating cut-downs, compilations, or re-use of segments requires additional licensing and fees payable to IGS.
• Clearances that include for sale and/or future media apply only to the production as initially created for broadcast purposes.
• “Unlimited Use in a Single Program” rates apply to the total broadcast length of a program (including commercials). IGS requires copies of cue sheets.
• For Internet usage, music cannot be downloadable separate from the production.
