Clearance Definitions

Broad Theatrical Rights: All media now known and hereafter devised: theatrical and non-theatrical exhibition, all broadcast media (free TV, cable, DBS, digital TV, radio, Internet, and in-transit), distribution of unlimited copies (for free or for sale) in all linear and non-linear media and formats (excludes soundtrack albums). Includes foreign language dubbing or subtitling, and promotional advertising in-context only.

Broad Trailer Rights: Theatrical and non-theatrical exhibition, all broadcast media (free TV, cable, DBS, digital TV, radio, Internet, and in-transit), distribution of unlimited copies (for free or for sale) in all linear and non-linear media and formats for promotional advertising only. Includes foreign language dubbing or subtitling.

Campaign: A related collection of promotional productions for a single film, in a variety of lengths and versions. Productions may be in multiple media.

Film Festival: Exhibition at student or professional festivals for distribution or awards consideration only.

Museum/Non-Profit: Exhibition only at museums, educational institutions, and non-profit public service centers.

Theatrical: Exhibition only in public venues for entertainment and/or fundraising.

Theme Park or Stadium: Exhibition as part of a ride, gaming/sporting event, or concert.

Trailer: For Sale Media: All for-sale media (video, DVD, etc.) for promotional advertising only in linear and non-linear
formats.

  • For EPK or VNR rates, please contact IGS for quote.
  • Theatrical exhibition licenses include performance rights for screening in movie theaters in the United States only.
  • For Internet Usage, music cannot be downloadable separate from the production.
